Dr. George Sun, MD, is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Dr. Sun believes that serving patients and helping them get well is a calling. His favorite aspect of serving patients is listening to patients, accurately diagnosing their issues, and helping them to become their best.

Dr. Sun: It is a calling. I like helping people, seeing them get well, and encouraging them to be their best.

Dr. Sun: I like the complexity of the cases and the variety of disease processes. I wanted to treat both young and older patients; healthy and very critically ill.

Amazing team and fantastic doct
I’m have been his patient for 15 years. He has worked with me on several gastrointestinal issues. Barretts Esophagus, ulcers, polyps, gastritis, hiatal hernia and diverticulitis. Always proactive.

Visiting Dr. Sun has been an excellent experience. His expertise in his field is second to none. But what sets him apart from other doctors is his amazing communication skills and care for his patients. He answered all my questions fully and really made me feel like we could take as much time as we need to talk through all my concerns. You can tell he really cares about patient experience and has genuine compassion with a level headed approach.

Dr. Sun is an excellent gastroenterologist and I have total confidence in his medical care and treatment. He first saw me in the ER and agreed to take me on as a new patient when I was discharged from the hospital. He was thorough in how he looked at my past medical history and applied it to ongoing treatment. He is an excellent listener and clearly communicates/explains each test or procedure recommended. Dr. Sun’s medical assistant is also most competent and dependable when it involves returning calls, explaining questions, and relaying information to Dr. Sun. Dr Sun is a wonderful and knowledgeable physician with the compassion and empathy that you want your physician to have. Dr. Sun quickly resolved a battle with diarrhea I was having for 20+ years with a laser like focus. Treatment kicked-in in 2 days. He is an excellent listener. Highly recommend him.
I recently had a colonoscopy done by Dr. George Sun of Digestive Health Associates. Not only did Dr. Sun do an outstanding job on the colonoscopy, his office staff is extremely responsive and organized. So many times the Dr. is great but the office staff sucks and this can be a deal breaker! Not here! I highly recommend Dr. Sun and his staff at Digestive Health Associates.
