Doctors and staff are great at DHA but...have you ever tried to schedule an appointment with DHA? Here is what you need to do. :( First you call the number on their website and then a lady answers and gets all your information and then she checks if any "scheduler" is available, you wait, wait and then wait and then she says she will transfer you to her "scheduler". Then you get connected to a 'scheduler" line with a music in the background as you wait until another lady answers. This is not acceptable. Also, their webpage patient portal does NOT work as this website needs a big improvement to be in line with the digitization of the new era.
I have read some of the comments about difficulties with the administrative staff and will address this later. In general, I call the front desk staff of medical facilities "gatekeepers." And they will make or break your access to your doctors!
To give you some context: In my experience, I needed approval from another specialist to get a colonoscopy. This other specialist had a horrible front desk assistant who lost my approval form, claimed the doctor doesn't complete such forms (after I had just left his office, and he had agreed), and she ignored the doctor's follow-up orders and instead chatted with the nurse for 10 minutes about nothing. Then she left me in an empty office when she took off to NOT do her job. It was dark and almost 7 pm by then. Because I felt something was weird about her, I took a picture of the doctor's follow up orders and approval notes. It served me well.
Now, for Dr. Krill's staff. Yes, one of the front desk ladies is impersonal. I noticed that on my first visit.
After I finally went to the other specialist in my attempt to get an approval letter, I did run into difficulties trying to explain the events that happened with Dr. Krill's staff. His staff did hear my messages, but it was confusing. I explained the situation and it was hit or miss on whoever I managed to get on the phone or whoever tried to get back to me with a voicemail. I didn't get anywhere.
So, this is the impressive difference. During my first meeting with Dr. Krill, he gave me a method of contacting him directly if I ever needed to. How many doctors do that? It's rare. I kept the information and months went by.
Once I had the referral issue with the specialist's staff refusing to write my approved referral, after struggling for about 2 weeks, I directly contacted Dr. Krill. I'm shy and really had been hesitant but by this time desperation triumphed over timidity. I reached out to Dr. Krill. The very next day I was scheduled.
I don't know him very well, but I could tell he was special during my first visit, and he seems amazing. I haven't undergone the procedure just yet, but I'll think about providing an update.
(Note: Please don't use this story as a license to spam and message the doctor repeatedly. The man has a job to do. It is important to practice the heavenly virtue of self-restraint :)...)

I have been working with Dr. Ramesh's team for years. They have tons of experiences in this specialty area and really care about their patients. I trust them for my family member. So naturally, when my mom needs a colonoscopy, I went to Dr. Ramesh. He was able to squeeze my mom in and did an excellent job!!! Thank you, Dr. Ramesh!!!
Got into see Dr. Sun - As always he was helpful and will followup as needed
I am very happy I found Dr Dominguez and he helped me out with my chronic digestive issues, I have previously consulted to many other GI. Dr Dominguez persisted until he found an explanation and appropriate treatment for my condition. He took time and consideration with my case, explaining all to me and my family in English and spanish, If you are looking for a biligual GI he is the one.
Dr. Dominguez well worth a 5 star if not more.
I had a stomach issue for about 1 year after I had my ruptured appendix surgery. Since then, I kept having stomach pain, vomiting and dizziness. I was in and out of Emergency Rooms numerous times. They did several tests on me but other Doctors could not really pin point what was wrong with me and could not treat me completely. I was referred to Dr. Cristian Dominguez from my girlfriend, Celine, and my surgent, Dr. Wheeler. Dr. Dominguez diagnosed me with H. Pylori Infection. I took antibiotic he prescribed for 2 weeks. Did a blood work again and the bacteria was gone. Since then, I felt much healthier.
Dr. Dominguez also called me personally to check up on me. None of my Doctors have ever done that. That means a lot and very touching because he cares.
Dr. Dominguez is very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him.
Thank you so much Dr. Dominguez.

My husband and I first met Dr. Krill at Memorial Hermann while my husband was recuperating from major back surgery. Days later an emergency surgery, unrelated to the first, was necessary and we will be forever grateful that Dr. Krill was on call that evening to oversee my husband’s care. Since that time I have gone to Dr. Krill for a colonoscopy. We highly recommend Dr. Joseph Krill! He is attentive and caring; he and his staff have been superb.
Dr. Dominguez is amazing! I was day 4 staying at the hospital. One procedure was done, however in my case a 2nd one was needed. I was transported to Memorial City & that’s where I met Dominguez. I begged to have my procedure asap. He got me in first thing, by 10am the second procedure was done & I instantly felt better. The care afterwards was annoying due to the unprofessional staff at memorial Herman hospital & Dr. Dominguez put them in their place! He is very nice, and truly takes care of his patients! Will forever be thankful he was my surgeon.
Dr. Krill is excellent, he is very knowledgeable, approachable and considerate, I highly recommend him.
Dr. Dominguez virtually saved my life. I came to their clinic with advancing cirrhosis and Dr. Dominguez' prudent treatment regiment has me back in much better health. I highly recommend DHAssociates and him above all the others I've seen.
I saw Dr. Dominguez this morning through a very positive referral from a friend. He was gracious enough to fit me in last minute at less than a day's notice. Despite being on his schedule at the last minute, he spent SO much time answering all my questions and is absolutely wonderful, patient, a good listener, extremely knowledgeable and kind. His MA, Josie, is also super efficient and available to speak to about concerns. I had an issue with the imaging order and scheduling and she very sweetly handled it for me with no complaints and ease. To top it off, their clinic is super clean and aesthetically pleasing. I am very thankful to have found them!
DHA has been extremely helpful and kind! Dr.Sun is attentive and has helped me a lot with my diagnosis. His team is also responsive and professional! Highly recommend!
Dr. Dominguez is amazing! Helped clarify diagnosis and provided accurate patient education. Very patient, kind, and thorough. Highly recommend!
