Great experience with Dr. Krill and his team for my GI care! Communication, details, what to expect, and procedure follow up's were all tier service level. Dr. Krill was involved in every step of my care and provided clear understandings of the process and results. Highly recommended for any GI needs within the greater Houston area!
Dr Krill was GREAT! Very personable, took time to answer all my questions pre and post procedure. He was even very quick to call me back on a follow up question. Super impressed with Dr. Krill at every step.
(Please Note: This is a copy of my review for Digestive Health Associates as it predominantly highlights Dr. Krill.)
I have read some of the comments about difficulties with the administrative staff and will address this later. In general, I call the front desk staff of medical facilities "gatekeepers." And they will make or break your access to your doctors!
To give you some context: In my experience, I needed approval from another specialist to get a colonoscopy. This other specialist had a horrible front desk assistant who lost my approval form, claimed the doctor doesn't complete such forms (after I had just left his office, and he had agreed), and she ignored the doctor's follow-up orders and instead chatted with the nurse for 10 minutes about nothing. Then she left me in an empty office when she took off to NOT do her job. It was dark and almost 7 pm by then. Because I felt something was weird about her, I took a picture of the doctor's follow up orders and approval notes. It served me well.
Now, for Dr. Krill's staff. Yes, one of the front desk ladies is impersonal. I noticed that on my first visit.
After I finally went to the other specialist in my attempt to get an approval letter, I did run into difficulties trying to explain the events that happened with Dr. Krill's staff. His staff did hear my messages, but it was confusing. I explained the situation and it was hit or miss on whoever I managed to get on the phone or whoever tried to get back to me with a voicemail. I didn't get anywhere.
So, this is the impressive difference. During my first meeting with Dr. Krill, he gave me a method of contacting him directly if I ever needed to. How many doctors do that? It's rare. I kept the information and months went by.
Once I had the referral issue with the specialist's staff refusing to write my approved referral, after struggling for about 2 weeks, I directly contacted Dr. Krill. I'm shy and really had been hesitant but by this time desperation triumphed over timidity. I reached out to Dr. Krill. The very next day I was scheduled.
I don't know him very well, but I could tell he was special during my first visit, and he seems amazing. I haven't undergone the procedure just yet, but I'll think about providing an update.
(Note: Please don't use this story as a license to spam and message the doctor repeatedly. The man has a job to do. It is important to practice the heavenly virtue of self-restraint :)...)
UPDATE: I finished the procedure and everything was GREAT!!! I haven't slept under deep sedation since my wisdom teeth extraction as a teenager, so I was overly nervous and successfully delayed the procedure for a year or more. In retrospect, Dr. Krill and the entire staff were the best I could have asked for. Everyone was caring and gentle. I went to sleep, woke up, and everything was done!
In reality, the hardest part of the overall process is the 24 hours prior to surgery at home. Drinking the medicine (I called it "poison water") and staying up practically all night is the hardest part. The "poison water" is rough to get down and you have to do it twice. I'm also not a fan of liquid diets. It's a difficult 24 hours.
Once I was in Dr. Krill's hands and with his staff, everything was easy. I followed up with a Hopdoddy Mother Nature Burger and Parmesan Truffle Fries reward and then resumed my healthier diet thereafter. Everything ended with me HAPPY!!!

Doctors and staff are great at DHA but...have you ever tried to schedule an appointment with DHA? Here is what you need to do. :( First you call the number on their website and then a lady answers and gets all your information and then she checks if any "scheduler" is available, you wait, wait and then wait and then she says she will transfer you to her "scheduler". Then you get connected to a 'scheduler" line with a music in the background as you wait until another lady answers. This is not acceptable. Also, their webpage patient portal does NOT work as this website needs a big improvement to be in line with the digitization of the new era.
Dr. Dominguez is a wonderful physician. My colonoscopy and endoscopy were completed by him and the whole experience was as pleasant as it could be under his care. He was thorough in his explanations, listened attentively to any concerns I had and made me feel reassured. He has great bedside manner and treats his patients like family. You will get the very best medical care with him.
Dr. Domínguez did an excellent job explaining to me my stomach problems and diagnosing my issues. He is very knowledgeable and able to explain every detail to me about my medical conditions and situation.
His staff at both locations are very friendly and were helpful to me. The entire endoscopy and colonoscopy process and procedures went smoothly. I’m would recommending Dr. Dominguez to my family and friends.

Dr Krill is very personable and easy to talk to about the procedure and afterwords. He takes the time to answer your questions and doesn't rush you.

Dr. Dominguez is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered in my lifetime. During my 1st visit with him, he introduced himself and immediately expressed his condolences for a very recent loss that I endured. He heard my every concern and was reassuring and empathetic. His knowledge and expertise is top tier. He knows exactly how he can best help his patients and he’s very sincere while doing so. I am so grateful to have him on my health journey, he’s truly the greatest!!! His staff is also super lovely and very helpful!
I recently had my first colonoscopy with Dr. Krill, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Dr. Krill is a very kind and compassionate doctor who made me feel completely at ease. His team was equally amazing—professional, attentive, and efficient. Everything went smoothly, and I felt well cared for throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Dr. Krill and his team.
Dr. Dominguez & his staff are wonderful! He is the type of doctor that will sit and listen to all of your concerns and address them instead of having one foot out the door and in a rush to get to the next patient. His staff is always super helpful and polite. I've been going here for a little over a year now and am so happy to have found such a caring facility.
Dr Dominguez and staff go above and beyond to make sure patient experience is perfect.
Great patient care starting with reception desk to Medical Assistant Crystal and support staff to finally Dr Dominguez. Strongly recommend Dr Christian Dominguez.

What an amazing experience this has been. Dr. Dominguez is the kind of doctor you would want in your corner during a stressful situation. Knowledgeable, empathetic and available to all your questions. Amazing bed side manners.
Went in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy for the first time. His explanations were clear and exhaustive, his stuff was super friendly and accommodating. My check in was at 8.30 and by 10.30 it was all done and I was awake and ready to go home.
He followed up with me after the procedure to make sure I was ok. All the paperwork for the prep and post procedure was clear and on point. I really don't know what else I could have wished for... oh yea, the doc speaks Spanish if you need it! 5 stars plus! 🌟

Had a great experience. Wonderful facility. The team took good care of me
Loved the quality of care, consistent communication and thoughtful followup - had both upper and lower GI scoped. Growing old sucks, but when I need my next colonoscopy checkin, I’ll be coming back here!
Estoy muy satisfecho con el dr Ramesh. Es un profesional muy dedicado que tiene cuidado de sus pacientes.
Dr. Krill was amazing!! Very kind and professional. ....He saved my life. FIVE STARS!!!
I’m have been his patient for 15 years. He has worked with me on several gastrointestinal issues. Barretts Esophagus, ulcers, polyps, gastritis, hiatal hernia and diverticulitis. Always proactive.
Excellent GI specialist! I have sent multiple friends and family members to see Dr. Dominguez. He has a wonderful staff both at his office and his endoscopy center. Top notch bedside manners, exceptionally knowledgable, and technically gifted. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
He is a wonderful nice professional gentlemen, he saved my life By doing the right procedures thank you so much, Dr Krill💕🦋
I met Dr. Dominguez when I had a medical emergency in February. I live two hours away from Houston and am so thankful I drove the distance to great medical care at Memorial Hermann where I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Dominguez. He was truly a God send! After I was released for follow-up care with him, and he worked tirelessly to get to the bottom of my issue, I am happy to say for the first time in a LONG time, I am 100% back to normal. I cannot tell you how many times Dr. Dominguez personally called to check on me. I have never had a doctor personally call to see how I was doing! Not to mention his wonderful staff. They are truly a well-oiled machine! When you call his office, you actually speak to someone who can answer your questions, and if they cannot, they put you in contact with someone who can, and they immediately return your calls. Not to mention that Dr. Dominguez has great brunch recommendations!!!!
Excelente Dr el mejor y súper amable.!! Lo recomiendo 100 de 100
Dr. Dominguez at Digestive Health Specialist has a great practice. I highly recommend their service when in need of corrective digestion issues, or routine procedures.
This review is long overdue!
I highly recommend Dr. Dominguez. My whole family sees him at this point. He truly cares about his patients and always takes the time to listen to all of the concerns. Dr. Dominguez is very knowledgeable and explains everything in a way that I can understand. He is up to date on the latest literature in GI health and has the best strategies to navigate all my concerns. I always feel comfortable and well taken care of during my visits and if I have follow up questions, he is always willing to assist. Not only is he great but so is his medical assistant, crystal! If you're looking for a dedicated and caring gastrointestinal doctor, Dr. Dominguez is the best choice and unmatched!

Had great experience with Dr. Krill and staff. They took time to explain and help me understand what the procedure was going to be. Had to say this was one of the best service and treatment I’ve had that’s been done correctly.
Great Doctor. Very educated, attentive and thorough Doctor
I put off signs that there was an issue internally for 3 years. I moved to TX and was blessed to find Dr Ramesh. Scheduled a colonoscopy and it was determined that I had polyps that needed to be removed. Dr Ramesh was thorough, informative, and was ready to answer any question I had as Im sure I showed visible signs of concern.
Scheduled the appointment/procedure and was in and out in no time the day of. HIs staff followed up to make sure I was doing good
as well thereafter.
Thank you doctor Ramesh! You were Heaven sent!

I was referred to Dr. Ramesh by my OB, when I couldn’t get any answers from my PCP. He was able to figure out what was going on. I want to say that he is very attentive to you and is able to answer all your questions. I feel comfortable and safe being under his care. Today, I had an endoscopy and the procedure went smoothly. Great doctor, really recommend!

Dr. Krill was so helpful and caring.
I have been working with Dr. Ramesh's team for years. They have tons of experiences in this specialty area and really care about their patients. I trust them for my family member. So naturally, when my mom needs a colonoscopy, I went to Dr. Ramesh. He was able to squeeze my mom in and did an excellent job!!! Thank you, Dr. Ramesh!!!
Dr. Krill is the best doctor I have ever seen in my life. He is very knowledgeable, professional, caring, and down to earth personality. He is a real gentleman. I’m so pleased meeting him and I am sure I am in good hands for required treatments. Our world needs more human and professionals like Dr. Krill.
First time having a colonoscopy, so I was pretty reluctant to go through with it. But the experience was easy and without discomfort. I’m now telling all my friends my age not to put this off, and use my doctor. Only complaint is that the office took over a month to schedule the procedure, and I was about to give up and seek out a different doctor. But I’m really glad they eventually contacted me, because I now have no complaints. I would definitely use Dr. Krill again.
Exelente médico!! Super recomendado!
Great professional service and thorough care of my procedure. Dr. Krill and his team are super engaged with their patients and take the time it needs. Definitely a recommendation to everyone.
Very caring and wonderful medical staff.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Dominguez's office, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. Dr. Dominguez is not only professional and caring, but he also took the time to ensure that I received the exact tests I needed, without any unnecessary extras. What truly stood out to me was his willingness to review labs and tests that were not initially in his system, going above and beyond to provide comprehensive care.
I also want to give a special shout-out to his MA, Crystal, who played a crucial role in my care journey. Crystal worked tirelessly to ensure I had enough samples during the insurance denial process, navigating through the challenges with grace and efficiency. Her dedication was instrumental in securing a significant cost reduction for my medication, making a $2k/month drug affordable at just $50/month.
As someone working in the healthcare industry, I have a trained eye for exceptional care, and I can confidently say that Dr. Dominguez, Crystal, and the entire office deserve a perfect 10/10 rating. I wholeheartedly recommend them and consider them worthy of a glowing 5-star review. Thank you, Dr. Dominguez, Crystal, and the entire team, for your outstanding service and dedication to patient care.
